It's been years since we took my mom out for dim sum for Mother's Day. Every single one of us, including the little one, enjoyed our early celebration at Palette Tea Garden. The food was probably the best dim sum we've had in the US. And the service was excellent too. They were even kind enough to seat us on the mostly enclosed patio and open the large windows next to our table (we still only eat outdoors so this was the most indoors we've been in over 2 years). #mothersday #dimsum #modernchinese

The little one requested a mermaid theme for her birthday and after having to reschedule the first party at the last minute because she was sick, she was finally able to celebrate with her friends this past weekend.

I ordered the berry chantilly cake from whole foods and decorated it with rice paper sails I made. Then added mermaid decorations from @simplytale to complete the look. 🧜🏻‍♀️ 🎂

One of my closest and oldest friends (from 6th grade) is adopting a baby boy. Her church friends threw her the cutest adoption blessing party this weekend. When you think the world has gone crazy and nothing makes sense, you still have people like my amazing friend who is going to open her heart and home to someone she has never met and to promise to love him forever and ever. That's courage, love and faith. I am in awe of her. #adoption #babyshower
