Looking at dahlias through a macro lens gives you a whole new perspective. Dahlia petals were the focus for these shots and sometimes they resemble spikes or feathers, but my favorite is when they look like the organza of a wedding dress.

Golden Gate Park

It’s a beautiful day for a bike ride through Golden Gate Park. The trees are covered in pink and white flowers at this time of year. Don’t forget to stop at Park Chalet for a drink in the back garden.
