Little Peanut Baby Shower

One of my bestest friends was expecting (her baby was born in October…photos to follow), so a few of her friends, her sister and I threw her a baby shower. To my displeasure, she chose not to find out if the baby would be a boy or girl, thwarting my shopping spree of tutus and flowery dresses, or at least delaying it. She would refer to her unborn baby as her “little peanut”, so that became the theme of her baby shower.

The Little Peanut banner now hangs in the baby’s nursery

What’s a party without delicious food?

Flower arrangements had teddy bear mums, a flower I had never heard of, but I thought the name was very appropriate for a baby shower.

The saving grace of being my friend’s only single friend is that she has LOTS of friends who already have kids and can offer valuable advice.

Favors were little jars of peanut butter packaged beautifully

    Hi Sheree,

This is just a photography blog. I ordered the design from Dimple Prints on Etsy and assembled it myself. You can find the banner here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/67991488/little-peanut-the-elephant-printable. I would sell you the completed banner, but it is now hanging up over the baby’s crib.
