Golden retrievers are my favorite non-snow dog, meaning if there were no Samoyeds, Malamutes or Huskies, a goldie is the dog I would get. Andrew, however, loves them and wants our next dog to be just like this one. They do quintessentially doggy things, like fetch, give you cute innocent “who me” looks, and roll around in the dirt (thank goodness Bianca & Sorcha don’t do that!).

Goldens are good, but there is nothing like a Samoyed. A dog that will always express it’s opinions. Plus training a golden is easy, Samoyeds give a sense of achievement.
