Chihuly is one of my favorite artists. His glass sculptures are so vibrant and colorful and bigger than life. It was solely because of his exhibit at the De Young museum last year that I decided to get a membership. Chihuly is one of the few artists that embrace photographers…not only are photographers allowed to take photos in the exhibit, but they’re encouraged to share them on Flickr and other sites. If a Chihuly exhibit is coming to your town, be sure to visit it…and take some pictures. Here’s a schedule.
